Jean Tyree

     Jean has rung handbells for many years and is the manager for First Presbyterian Church Handbell Choir as well as being a ringer. She enjoys ordering music, repairing the bells, keeping them polished, setting them out before the ringers arrive, making table covers, etc. She loves music and has sung in choirs since the age of ten. She sang with the touring choir at MTSU where she received a double major in Home Economics and Biology and a Music Education Minor. She and her husband, Kenneth, currently sing in the 11:00 service choir.
