JOIN US Come share our excitement as we enter a new era of
growth. Recently a generous donation from a group of members has started us on a
path of renewal. We have called Nick Reed, our new Associate Pastor, whose
primary functions are to work with our children and youth and with the new
friends we will make as we grow. Not only have we gained an Associate Pastor; we
are also embarking on a church renovation/addition project.
Our church is so well established that over the years many deep
relationships have developed. Considering this stability and our existing church
facilities; we truly feel poised for growth so that our Christianity may better
serve ourselves and the world. Our wonderful Outreach program gives us joyous
occasions to take our love outside our church.
We celebrate a diversity of professions. We are teachers, doctors, builders,
architects, business owners, farmers, lawyers, realtors, homemakers, engineers,
and more. We embrace the idea of women taking an active part in all aspects of
our church. We have much to offer. Come try us. You will feel welcome, and one
of our worship services as well as one of our church activities will surely
appeal to you.
From the Pastor...
With all Presbyterian churches throughout the world, we state
our faith and bear witness to God’s grace in Jesus Christ and want to be known
as a community of faith as well as of action. Along with the Book of Order, we
witness to one Church universal consisting of all persons in every nation,
together with their children, who profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior and commit themselves to live in a fellowship under his rule.
We identify with the affirmations of the Protestant Reformation.
They affirm the rediscovery of God’s grace in Jesus Christ as revealed in the
Scriptures by divine inspiration.
We are guided and motivated by grace, faith, and Scripture. We
believe in the majesty, holiness, and providence of God who creates, sustains,
rules and redeems the world in the freedom of sovereign righteousness and love.
We are a fellowship of people in voluntary covenant with one
another and through Jesus Christ, with God, and under the leadership of our
pastor and elected leaders, the elders (the Session), and deacons. |
