Boy Scout Troop 434

First Presbyterian Church sponsors Lebanon’s Boy Scout Troop 434.   The troop does not meet at the church but at its own hut next to Walter J. Baird Middle School.  Through the years, an impressive number of men from this troop earned their Eagle rank in Troop 434.

The troop has a number of assets, including its own trailer and equipment, a place to meet, a number of volunteers for special events, and money in the bank.  David Roberts in the Scoutmaster; Rachel Farley is the Troop Liaison.

Hayden Bone and Garrett Johnson earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2018.

In August, four members of the troop participated in a Scout skeet competition in Nashville. This fall they plan to go whitewater rafting and mountain biking.
